LP:BR: Anything new for DBS this year?
Amir: No not at this point… Whenever our (Julien-K) & Chester’s schedules align we can get back into it. I can’t predict that at this point.

LP:BR: Any chance to see JK playing here inBrazil soon? You guys have a lot of fans here.
Amir: We would love to play there but we need a promoter to get behind the band and bring us down. Please continue to help by building a fan base inBraziland bugging promoters to book us!

LP:BR: Can you tell us, the reason behind Elias and Brandon leaving Julien-K?
Amir: Elias has been focusing on his family andBrandonwasn’t into the new music we were doing. We are all still on good terms. In Fact, Elias almost did a show with us recently.

LP:BR: Who’s your favorite guitar player, Amir? and why?
Amir: That’s a tough question as I like so many new and old! Maybe Jeff Beck because he’s always innovated and done some many different styles. He inspired me for many years when I was just starting out.

LP:BR: What do you think about working with Chester Bennington? What can you say about him during the creative process?
Amir: Chester is a lot of fun to work with! He’s like a brother to us. Exploring his song writing ideas are different than doing Julien-K and we always enjoy new challenges. I think the results speak for themselves.

LP:BR: Do you listen to Linkin Park? What do you think about the band? What’s your favorite song?
Amir: Yes! Of course! All the guys in the band are really awesome and very talented. I really like the new song “Burn It Down” a lot. One of my favs by them for sure.

LP:BR: Has anything really weird ever happened during any of your live shows? Can you share one story with us?
Amir: Not really… Sorry I don’t have anything interesting to add to this! Every show has its challenges and nothing weird sticks out for me at the moment! Haha

Gosto bastante da nova música “Burn It Down”. Uma das minhas favoritas, com certeza.

LP:BR: Alguma coisa muito estranhas já aconteceu durante algum show? Pode nos contar uma historia?
Amir: Na verdade, nada… Desculpa, não tenho nada para acrescentar! Cada show tem seus desafios e nada de estranho me vem à mente agora! Haha
